Acer crashed the markets with the release if its ultra thin laptop the Acer Timeline. Acer went wild on battery life with the timeline it provides a battery life for about 8 hours all thanks to the intel core 2 solo low voltage processor. The processor has a speed of 1.4 GHz, 3MB L2 cache and a bus speed of 800 MHz. It comes with 2GB ram and upgradeable upto 4GB. It comes preloaded with microsoft windows vista home premium or vista home basic. It has a 250GB SATA HDD. It comes in 3 models the 5810T, 4810T and 3810T. The difference between these models is the screen 5810T has a 15.6" HD screen, 4810T has a 14" HD screen and the 3810T has a 13.3" HD screen all the models have LED backlit screen and 16:9 aspect ratio. It has got a HD graphic card with 1GB of graphic memory and supports Directx 10. It has a intergrated audio with 3rd generation dolby audio. The other features include hotkeys, card reader Wi-Fi, Touchpad gesture control and a HDMI port. It costs between $699 to $899.
